FYI - I'm the poster that VTChip referenced about donating the autograph

balls to a lucky young fan (female or male). I specifically targeted autograph balls that had bids below $25, which I even told VTChip was probably too low, but I picked that number for symbolic reasons. I think I started out with maybe only 5 or 6 bids that met that criteria. It looks like I may end up winning 2 balls.

I guess you can say this small gesture was hopefully the first step in a potential future side project that VTChip and I recently discussed over the phone. Hopefully we can work out the logistics for next season because I did say to him that it would be nice if we can include TSL posters and VT softball fans in on the project. I will say your suggestion isn't that far off from my original idea.
